AUO vient de brillament developper un écran TFT-LCD avec la techonologie des LED ultra plat de 42". Cette nouvelle technologie se basant sur l'utilisation de LED, permet de réduire le poids de la télé d'environ 44%, d'obtenir un écran d'une épaisseur inférieur à 10 mm, ainsi que d'augmenter la luminosité. AUO présentera son nouveau modele u salon SID 2008. D'ici la il va falloir être patient et attendre d'en savoir plus.
AUO has successfully developed ultra-slim 42-inch TFT-LCDs with LED technology.
This new LED TV technology, which allows the creation of a module less than 10mm thick, will be showcased at the SID 2008.
The technology also reduces weight significantly by 44% compared to conventional models and can reach a brightness of 450 nits. In addition, highly efficient white LEDs can further reduce power consumption and simplify the driving circuit. Till the SID we will have to be patient and wait until we can have further informations about this really flat screen.
