Modbook or the unofficial macbook tablet

Le groupe de designer informatique Axiotron vient de developper le Modbook, un semblant de mac book, mais entierement tactile et en mode tablet PC. Par conséquent l'utilisation se fait par stylet, et le Modbook integre aussi un module GPS afin de le rendre encore plus nomade. Si cela vous interesse c'est par ici, et le prix varie entre $2280 et $2480.

Dell abandonne 4 modèles de XPS pour se focaliser sur Alienware

Alienware fait la une aujourd'hui. En effet, Dell vient d'annoncer qu'il allait abandonner 4 de ses modèles XPS afin de relancer Alienware. En effet depuis que Alienware a été racheté par Dell en 2006, la marque semblait plutôt végéter dans son coin. Dell va donc s'interesser d'avantage au gamers, et cela va peut être passer par le lancement d'un Alienware low cost comme posté précédemment.

Alienware is in front page today. The end of 4 XPS PC models gets official today, in order for Dell to push Alienware. It's true that since Dell buy lienware in 2006, the brand was not doing anything special and was kind of dying. But today things changed and Dell is going to focus solely and push Alienware. That maybe the reason of the Alienware low cost PC annoucement in the previous post.

The new Alienware PC will be a low cost...

Apparement Alienware devrait lancer un nouveau PC pour gamers low cost. Le prix annoncé serait de $1,699 avec pour caractéristiques principales:
- Processeur Quad-core 9550 Phenom X4 2.2GHz
- 2 cartes graphiques ATI HD 3870 X2
- 4GB RAM
- Carte mère Asus avec un chipset AMD 790FX.

Strangely enough, Alienware seems to go low cost. A new gamer's PC is upcoming at only $1,699, with for principal specs:
- Quad-core 9550 Phenom X4 2.2GHz processor
- Two ATI HD 3870 X2 graphics processing units
- 4GB RAM
- High-end Asus motherboard with AMD 790FX chipset.

Asus eee pc 900 now available

On savait qu'il était prevu pour aujourd'hui, et Asus a respecté son calendrier.
Il est annoncé a $600 pour la version XP, et à $566 en linux.

MSI mini PC gets announced

MSI vient enfin de dévoiler son mini PC le Titan 700. Petit mais costaud pourrait être la devise de ce PC. En effet, le Titan sera cadencé à 2GHz par le processeur VIA 7, avec 1 GB de RAM et l'appui du chipset VIA CN700/8237R+. Il sera fournit de base avec un lecteur/graver dvd ultra fin et un disque dur S-Ata 2.5", évitant ainsi tout dégagement de chaleur superflue. Au niveau connections et bien du Gigabit LAN, des ports E/S, 4 USB 2.0, S-ATA, PS/2 et 5.1 audio. Ainsi le Titan 700 se place directement en tant que concurrent direct de l'Asus Eeee desktop. Il est pour le moment annoncé au environs de 300 euros. Il n'est annoncé qu'en Grande Bretagne pour le moment, et apparemment sera livré sans OS.

The Titan 700 has just get announced by MSI. Tiny but strong could have been his marketing argument. The Titan is going to be cadenced at 2GHz by the VIA 7 processor, with 1GB RAM and the VIA CN700/8237R+ chispet support. It will integrate a slim dual DVD player/burner and a S-ATA hard drive, but without any OS. About connection, the Titan will integrate: the Gigabit LAN, ports E/S, 4 USB 2.0, S-ATA, PS/2 et 5.1 audio.
As a result, the Titan is going to be a direct competitor for the Asus Eeee Desktop PC. It will cost around $458, but for the moment it is only available in the UK.

Core 2 Quad available for Dell XPS 420

Dell vient d'annoncer la possibilité d'integrer les Core 2 Quad Q9300 et Q9450 dans le Dell XPS 420 pour au maximum 100$ pour le Q9450. Ainsi le client a un plus vaste choix de CPU mais aussi dans des prix plus raisonnables, permettant aussi a l'utilisateur de gagner en puissance sans pour autant avoir à repenser son budget. Dell just makes Core 2 Quad available for the XPS 420, for no more than $100 for Q9450. As a result, customers will have more choice and at more affordable prices, and get a better and more powerful CPU without forcing to refinance it.

Psystar or Mac

Psystar, entreprise américaine, s'est lancée dans le développement de PC permettant la mise en place de mac OS X. Mais ils ne se sont pas arrêtés là puisque leurs tours ressemble fortement à celle des macs. Il faut savoir que la marque propose deux modèles: les Open et les Open Pro.
Les configurations peuvent être légèrement changées.
Ainsi pour $719 nous pouvons avoir un Open computer avec:
